Sach Enthoven, B.A.
Master's Intern
Hi! My name is Sacha. I am deeply committed to supporting children, youth, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their inner strengths. I believe in the healing power of connection and strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and safe to show up as they are.
My journey into counselling began in my childhood, growing up in the Lower Mainland in a vibrant, blended family as a proud first-generation Canadian and the child of Dutch immigrants. My parents were foster caregivers. From a young age, I witnessed the power of care, empathy, and community. These early experiences shaped my lifelong passion for advocating for children’s rights and supporting those facing adversity.
Since earning my undergraduate degree, I have spent more than two decades working closely with young people and families in a variety of roles, from front-line support and foster parenting to advocacy within the child welfare system. My work is always guided by a deep respect for the resilience of young people and a belief in their right to be heard and empowered.

I decided to pursue my Master’s degree in Counselling later in life to further develop an approach rooted in relational, trauma-informed, and client-centered care. I see each person as the expert of their own story and feel honoured to walk alongside them on their healing journey. I bring curiosity, humility, and heartfelt presence to every session, recognizing the immense courage it takes to reach out for support.
My Approach

Because no two people are the same, I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities—including attachment-based, strengths-focused, and trauma-informed frameworks—to support emotional healing, personal growth, and meaningful change. I value client feedback and see our relationship as a collaborative one built on trust, respect, and shared insight.
While much of my work has focused on supporting youth and families, I welcome clients of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you are navigating grief, anxiety, life transitions, or relationship challenges, my goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself and more equipped to meet life with clarity and compassion.

When I am not in the counselling room, you will often find me out in nature, hiking in the mountains with my dog, skiing into the backcountry, or camping with family and friends. These moments of stillness and adventure help me stay grounded and renewed.
