Suzanne Paddinge Barrow, MCPAT, RCC (she/they)
Associate Counsellor, Art Therapist
Hi, I’m Suzanne, and I support children, youth, and adults in navigating the challenges they are facing, including low confidence, struggling to find meaning in life, managing big life changes, handling stress and anxiety, and working through relationship challenges. I also provide personalized support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and neurodivergence, helping them build self-awareness, navigate social dynamics, and develop strategies for thriving in everyday life.
What you can expect from our sessions together:
One thing I deeply value in my work with clients is creating a safe space where you feel heard and able to be yourself. In our sessions, I’ll prioritize making sure you feel comfortable and at ease as we begin to get to know each other.

I’ve been told I have a warm, authentic approach, and I believe in meeting you where you’re at. My focus is simply on listening to you, understanding what’s happening in your life, and being present for whatever you’re navigating.

I’m here to offer a fresh perspective, help you explore new ways of thinking about old challenges, and provide tools to help you navigate life with more clarity and confidence.
I’m excited to be a part of your journey and support you in whatever way feels right for you.
About me:
As a mother of four adult children, I’ve experienced firsthand how valuable it is to have the support of others through the ups and downs of parenting. I believe we never stop evolving in our own journeys, and it’s never too late to embrace growth, explore new paths, and seek the support we need along the way.
In fact, I returned to school at 46 to pursue my passion for counselling, proving that it's never too late to make a change and follow your dreams. Along the way, I also came to terms with my own queer
identity, a deeply personal experience that has further shaped my understanding of identity, self-discovery, and the importance of creating a safe space for others.
